Once upon a time, there was a school teacher who had the crazy notion that she could take a post one picture for each day of the 2010 year. My only excuse is life. That’s right, life happened. I’ve got many of the photos but, sadly, not all. It seems that with starting the Inspirations Photography website, teaching full time, trying to keep Mr. Wonderful’s tummy full and chasing, either figuratively or literally after Things 1, 2 and 3, I have simply run out of time in my life.
Now that I have openly admitted my shortcomings to all of you I can simply move on, post and comment about the pictures I’ve taken and not have to keep track of what day each picture is for. Somehow, I think this may put a little more fun back into the P365 initiative for me:)
Sorry for letting you down and leaving you photo-less for so long. Will you ever forgive me?
A stunning sunset I snapped while doing senior pictures one evening. Straight out of the camera!

The 3 bedroom house built by our students being hauled to it’s new home.

South Dakota’s national FFA officer candidate doing a workshop with my Leadership class.

The beginning of Watermelon Pickles!

Fall pasture land and skyline.

Airport time on the way to Indianapolis with students for the 83rd National FFA Convention.

The dessert served at the National Extemporaneous Speaking Dinner I attended with one of my students who competed in the contest. Yum!

Thing 3 at National Convention. The ONLY shot she would cooperate for!

The Horse evaluation team after our awards breakfast. They had these amazing mirrors in the hotel where the breakfast was held. I only wish I’d been able to climb up on about a 10 or 12 foot ladder to really get this shot.

The kid with the goofy glasses from earlier in this post being elected National Vice President!

My students jumping for joy!

The party bus at 5:00 a.m. on the way to the airport to head home from Indy. If they look tired, it’s because they are. Yes, the girl in the foreground is having cheesecake for breakfast. That’s how we roll!

Our recruitment logo on the big flat panel in the high school commons.

The student technology advisory committee meeting with administrators regarding our new Macbook laptops.

One of my students posing as a politician. In the future this might not be a pose for him. Watch for his name on a ballot near you in about 10 or 20 years.

My students at the Jackrabbit Invitational Leadership Contests. We cleaned house!

My students presenting their research and varying opinions about cloning in agriculture at one of our local country churches.

There, that was 21 more photos, so maybe I’m not as far behind or as much of a failure as I thought!
