All Big Ideas have been submitted. I am sorry for all the trouble that some of you had connecting to and submitting to the system. I had a lot of trouble with it myself.
District Leadership CDEs will be held here, at West Central on November 15th after school. We plan to start about 4:30. We will need members to help on that night who are not competing.
Fruit sales are due November 15th as well.
This week – you should be working on SAE Grants (sophs and juniors) Leadership CDEs, keeping your records up to date, and any assigned blog posts. Just one little note about blog posts – some of you are not even writing enough in your posts to really earn a grade. I’ve been pretty lenient so far but we’re far enough into the year that I expect more from you. So – if you are one of the many who write one, maybe two sentences – be warned!
And now, for something completely different:
For today: I thought that this prompt was something that you could all do well at! Tell me about your favorite song, what are the lyrics, who sings it, who wrote it? Why is it your favorite? Does it invoke a memory of a specific time or occurrence? Has your song been covered by another artist or group? If so, which version do you like best and why?
Please note – if your favorite song has some inappropriate lyrics, please, when you post them on the blog, replace all naughty words with :”puppies” or “bunnies”.
